Tips for this kind of estimate
- List plants by botanical name and container size; substitutions are then a conversation, not a dispute.
- State the plant warranty (commonly one year with proper watering) and what voids it.
- Separate install from maintenance totals; the maintenance number should never inflate the install price.
Questions
How do I price plants I have not bought yet?
Use current nursery list prices as material and adjust before signing; the template marks material figures as estimates until you confirm.
Does the template handle sod by the pallet?
Enter sod per square foot; a pallet is about 450 sq ft, so convert the supplier price per pallet to a per-foot material figure.
